We have the SMART-SLIDE patio doors as an intermediate link, in which the philosophy of construction is taken from PSK door solutions (e.g., due to the frame welded around the perimeter and the threshold formed by this frame), and the philosophy of movement mechanics from HST door solutions. From the point of view of sales and economics, SMART SLIDE balcony doors should be closer to the PSK design; from the point of view of performance and, above all, comfort of use – to HST solutions.
SMART-SLIDE sliding doors allow you to create a 5.8 x 2.4 m glazed structure in white in scheme C. The maximum dimensions of SMART-SLIDE sliding doors in scheme A are 4000 x 2400 mm in white (3800 x 2300 in color), and their division can be symmetrical or asymmetrical.
The new SMART-SLIDE door is characterized by its ease of assembly, which helps ensure high production efficiency. This is possible primarily due to the small number of profiles used in production. As with the patio door, the sash is welded, the system uses a mullion from the Ideal 4000 system, and the fixed glazing is mechanically fixed directly in the frame. The entire production can be carried out using standard machinery.
The time required to produce this type of door can be similar to that of a PSK-type door, while it can be up to 40% shorter than that of an HS-type system. This is possible primarily due to the small number of profiles used in their production. This reduces time and simplifies production. As with PSK-type doors, the frame is welded and the fixed glazing is implemented directly in the frame. Unlike traditional HS sliding systems, SMART-SLIDE sliding doors do not require the installation of a threshold, only the welding of the frame.
