The ceremony brought together a large number of state government representatives and local authorities, business organizations, higher and vocational education, as well as friends and supporters of the Wielkopolska Chamber of Construction.
The gala also featured the decoration of a large number of people with state, departmental, regional, and chamber awards. In a decision dated September 6, 2022, the Minister of Economic Development and Technology awarded the honorary badge "FOR MERITS FOR CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY" to the president of Aluplast Sp. z o.o., Mr. Christian Voicu. The award was presented by the Governor Mr. Michał Zieliński.
Systemic Strategy for Success
President Christian Voicu has headed the Polish division of Aluplast since 1995. Under his leadership, the company became the largest manufacturer of uPVC window systems in Poland after just six years and maintains its leadership position to this day. In the first phase of the company's development, the production of PVC profiles in Bydgoszcz was successfully launched, and then, after the construction of a new plant in Poznań, it was relocated to Poznań. A state-of-the-art production facility has been built on an area of more than 60,000 m2.
The Polish company, established in 1995 in Poznań, employed 8 people at the beginning of its operations and achieved a turnover of PLN 4 million in its first year. The company currently employs more than 700 people and realizes a turnover of more than one billion zlotys.
The company's extremely dynamic and stable development in Poland resulted in a decision to start the construction of a new production plant in Nagradowice (Kleszczewo municipality) near Poznań in 2019, which will make it possible to double the production capacity. A modern production facility is being built on the purchased 15-hectare plot, along with a warehouse and office buildings. The final value of the investment is estimated at more than PLN 140 million. Phase II of the new Aluplast plant will be completed this year. This is an extremely important part of the strategy of strengthening the market position and enhancing production potential, as the new production hall, raw material mixing plant, and technical rooms with a total area of about 20,000 m2 will be handed over as part of this stage. The new factory plans to install 50 PVC profile production lines.
Aluplast is also a founder and member of the Association of Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Distributors POLSKIE OKNA I DRZWI (Polish Windows & Doors), as well as many other chambers and associations, such as the Wielkopolska Chamber of Construction; the Wielkopolska Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Polish Construction Cluster.
