The thoughtful design and profile geometry, combined with available technologies, ensure excellent statics, long-term preservation of window function and trouble-free operation.
The Uf=1.0 W/m2K thermal transmittance coefficient of the profiles obtained in the study places the IDEAL 8000 system among the solutions of primary importance for investors interested in energy-efficient construction.
Achieving such results was possible thanks to the increase in profile installation depth to 85 mm, the six-chamber profile design and the designed three-seal system. The possibility of using energy-efficient glazing packages with a width of up to 51 cm makes it possible to create windows characterized by very low thermal transmittance.
Â
For example, a reference window with dimensions of 1230 x 1480 mm using a glazing package with a Ug=0.5 W/m2K coefficient achieves a thermal insulation coefficient of Uw=0.76 W/m2K, which meets the requirements for windows in so-called passive haus construction.
The use of glass bonding technology allows the windows to be even more stable. Thanks to the permanent bonding of the glass and the sash, the risk of warping, bending, and settling of the sash is reduced, thus extending the life of the sashes without the need for adjustment. By bonding the glass to the profile with glue, around its entire perimeter, much of the static load is carried by the glass, which is more resistant to bending than the sash profile and thus stabilizes the window.
The Ideal 8000 series is a multifunctional system, using the MULTIFALZ technology, which is an optional bonded glass technology. Thanks to the new geometry of the glazing rebate, not only conventional glazing, but also glass bonding is possible. These technologies can be used alternately or combined as needed, e.g., it is possible to improve the thermal properties of a structure by eliminating steel reinforcements and pasting glass, or to use both steel reinforcement and glass bonding technologies for larger window sizes, colors, etc.
The three-seal system used in the IDEAL 8000 series means not only greater tightness of the entire structure, but also a significantly longer life of the hardware mechanisms, which are isolated from external conditions in the so-called dry chamber. This ensures better operation of the hardware components and trouble-free use of the windows.
The recommended, and in fact mandatory, solution for joinery with higher resistance to burglary is to protect the glazing packages from being pushed into the room. The "bonding inside" glass bonding technology can help here, thanks to a perimeter gap with glue, permanently connecting the glass to the profile, we effectively prevent the glass from being pushed out of the sash.
The third seal of the window frame is a peripheral center groove that provides better thermal insulation and provides protection against rapid prying away of the sash. You can breathe with ease: by opting for safetec inside, you are choosing the best burglar protection for your window frames.
