The speeches and discussion panels during this year’s congress focused primarely on market conditions’ analysis and opportunities as well as possible areas of development in regards to our economic sector. Effective realization and influence on thermo-modernization programs, as well as lobbying for mechanisms to increase demand in the primary market, are extremely important impulses for the level of joinery sales in the Polish market. No less important were discussions of possible changes in the recycling of PVC windows, possible changes in legal regulations and measures for the effective management of post-consumer woodwork products.

Honorable mentions during the gala
The first day of congress ended with the Polish Joinery Eagles Gala, during which the brand awards were given. The president of aluplast, Christian Voicu, joined the group of Honorary Members of Polish Windows and Doors Association.
This presigious award was given to Voicu in acknowledgement of his extraordinary accomplishments and service in the work of developing the Joinery Industry and Polish Windows and Doors Association, as well as creating and developing Polish Joinary market.
Mr. Christian Voicu has been with The Aluplast Group for more than 30 years, leading the Polish branch since 1995. Under Christian Voicu’s management the company became the biggest window profile manufacturer in Poland in only six years. Aluplast has been the leader in Poland for more than 22 years now. The Polish branch is operating on markets such as Romania, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukrain, Moldavia and Georgia.
